Shailene Woodley is an American actress and activist. Her fame was boosted by her portrayal in the role of Alexandra King as a teen addicted girl in The Descendants. Apart from the well-respected performance she delivered on The Descendants, Shailene has been in a number of roles, which have shown her ability to play challenging characters effortlessly. Shailene was able to secure a prominent role early on in her career in film. This is in itself a remarkable achievement. Shailene's film career began acting in television series as well as commercials. Later, she played prominent parts in Hollywood films.
